- Add a pinch of tall dark and handsome husband (European preferred)

- Mix in three beautiful children, all with their own very distinct personalities

Sprinkle liberally with laughter, tenderness, and a few well-timed photobombs.

Instant success. Promise.

A couple of weeks ago, I received an inquiry to shoot a series of photos for a family calendar. Knowing who the family was made this particular session all the more special, for mama Erica has a very, very special place in my heart. Getting to meet her husband and THREE gorgeous boys was just icing on an already perfect cake.

I always love photo sessions that are more spontaneous than planned, because then you get to stand back and watch magical smiles and laughter bubble to the surface. This easygoing family has a lot of magic - all I had to do was stand back and click the shutter. 

Thank you, Erica, Mike, Riley, Chase and sweet Keagan. It was a pleasure to spend time with all of you!

Doug, Mary, Sadie & Keira

Doug is the Dad - he is quite rad.

Mary is the Mom - she is da bomb.

Sadie, the big sis - a stunning young miss.

And Keira is cute and small - but don't let that fool y'all.

I had a wonderful session with this ever-so-sweet family. It's easy to see the beauty in these lovely faces...and spending time with them is always a pleasure.

Rogers

Every once in a while, you come across an extremely quiet family.

This is not one of those occasions.

The Rogers family are Art, Alicia, Charlie, William and June. They happen to be delightful as well...and dear friends to top it all off. It's always good times with this happy bunch!

There are definite personalities within the Rogers clan. Big brother Charlie is bouncy...

And gigglish.



And he has some very impressive Gangnam Styles.
 


Little Brother William is always serious. 



(But I think he likes me.)

Little Lady June - the newest, most perfect addition to this already perfect family is just as beautiful as her mama.


 
It was such a treat to get lost in those big baby blues....
